Connect to peace. Stand for life!

This is Rotary's Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month. Welcome to the Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club for the week of Sunday, February 12 through Saturday, February 18, 2017. We are an Internet based Rotary Club based in Quezon City, Philippines with core groups of members in Southern California and elsewhere. We serve our local and nearby communities as well as projects in the Philippines.

Inspiration

"Success isn't measured by money or power or social rank. Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace." ~ Mike Ditka

"To attain inner peace you must actually give your life, not just your possessions. When you at last give your life - bringing into alignment your beliefs and the way you live then, and only then, can you begin to find inner peace." ~ Peace Pilgrim

Rotary 4-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”

By building your team's self-esteem and encouraging them, the entire team becomes stronger.

Sing-Along Song—Rotary Hymn by George Canseco

Take your time and sing-along (wherever you may be).

Fine Master

Traditionally, Rotary clubs have Fine Masters who are responsible for collecting fines/happy dollars. The clipart to your left is our e-club Fine Master. Do you have happy dollars, a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion, opening a new business, new car, new child, new grandchild, etc. Please feel free (and perhaps obligated) to click on our Rotary Fine Master button to your right.

The minimum fine is $3.00 to ensure a sufficient amount to take care of the PayPal fee. The purpose of the fines can be viewed by clicking on [View Fines/Happy Dollars] from the [Weekly Meetings] main menu

Program—Connect to peace. Stand for life! | Amy Hackett-Jones

We continue with Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month Again, we may strive for world peace; however, we need to be at peace with ourselves before we can ever achieve world peace..

Amy Hackett-Jones' years of direct experience interviewing leaders worldwide have shaped her understanding of the fundamentals of better business and authentic leadership. She combines her PR, marketing, sales, journalism and business development background with ancient wisdom teachings through which she has come to understand the importance of inner peace, power and purpose and their fundamental role in leading extraordinary lives. Capitalizing on her training and laser-beam focus as an athlete, life strategist and her deep understanding of human relations and communication, Amy, also known as the Peace Whisperer, takes her clients on both an inner and outer journey by teaching practical tools and essential life and leadership skills which she strategically translates into an art form of actionable skills that transform and transcend current mindsets, behaviors and results. This also involves rigorous thinking, and open dialogue to navigate one’s inner journey and deliver a powerful message of self-expression through speaking and being in the world. At the heart of the matter is authentic leadership of oneself, one’s family and ones business. Amy makes a significant difference to clients in eliminating stress, challenging current mindsets, increasing engagement, heightening performance and deepening relationships. She champions communication, connectivity and compassion as integral to reaching both individual and collective goals.
