Weekly Meeting Instructions

 

Like any other Rotary club which meets weekly, members of an e-club are also expected to meet weekly--online. Though a core group of members will attempt to meet in person at least once a month; this is not a substitute for weekly online meetings. Besides, not all members are able to meet in person because they may scattered anywhere in the world. Though not a requrement, we will attempt to have a "live" online meeting once a week. In lieu of any live online meetings, we will continue to have weekly meeting updates. Members are not requred to attend the "live" meetings; however, we are expected to review the weekly meeting updates during the week.

 

Weekly updates will be posted every Sunday morning between midnight and 1:00 am. You have until the following Saturday (7 days) to review one or more of the following:

 

  1, Weekly Meeting

  2. Our Projects

  3. Our Facebook Groups

a. Public (photos, general discussions, etc.)

b. Members (general discussions for members only)

c. Board (Issue related discussions and votes)

  4. Review other areas of our web site

 

To qualify for your weekly attendance, you are required to stay on our site for a minimum of 30 minutes.  Note: not all the Weekly Meeting Updates will meet the 30 minute minimum; therefore, be sure to view other segments of the site to ensure you meet the qualified time for attendance. To assist you in keeping track of your time, we have included a stopwatch timer. Just be sure to start the timer when you begin reviewing the site.

 

Note that the minimum time for a weekly e-club meeting is 30 minutes. Not all the weekly updates will complete the full 30 minutes. As a member, you can, and should, review the Facebook group for members; and if you are a board member, you are obligated to review, the Facebook group for board members and vote on any open motions.

 

On the Attendance Sumittal form, you will be required to enter an esimated time (<30, 30, 45, 60 or >60 minutes) you spent on our site. Please apply the 4-Way Test when completing the Makeup Submittal form. As a convenience, we have added a timer. When you are ready to begin, Start the time, review the 4 areas as suggested above, then return to this page, stop the timer, and proceed to the Attendance submital form below to complete your makeup.

 

Near the end of the form, you will be asked for a donation. for those members who would like to donate.A donation is not required; however, we would appreciate any donation from $5 to $20 in lieu of the cost of a meal; Any donation will be applied to our community projects.

 

After you submit the Attendance form, you will receive an email indicating that you have "attended" our online meeting. Please forward the email or give a printed copy to our secretary for credit.
