Rotary 4-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”

By building your team's self-esteem and encouraging them, the entire team becomes stronger.

Sing-Along Song—ROTAR-

Take your time and sing-along (wherever you may be).

Fine Master

Traditionally, Rotary clubs have Fine Masters who are responsible for collecting fines/happy dollars. The clipart to your left is our e-club Fine Master. Do you have happy dollars, a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion, opening a new business, new car, new child, new grandchild, etc. Please feel free (and perhaps obligated) to click on our Rotary Fine Master button to your right.

The minimum fine is $3.00 to ensure a sufficient amount to take care of the PayPal fee. The purpose of the fines can be viewed by clicking on [View Fines/Happy Dollars] from the [Weekly Meetings] main menu

Program—Rotary Club - Being a Vibrant Club

We CANNOT be a vibrant club UNLESS the vast majority of memers ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE—not MONTHLY, but WEEKLY. As an e-Club, we have a major advantage over traditional clubs in that we are REQUIRED to attend ONLY 30 MINUTES a week. In contrast, members of traditional clubs generally meet for 1 to 1-1/2 hours a week and if travel time, the total weekly commitment could extend to 2 hours or more. All we ask of our members `30 minutews of due diligence and commitment once a week—much like our webmaster takes due diligence and commitment to select an appropriate video for each weekly meeting based on the the Rotary monthly theme, Rotary education, leadership, motivation, inspiration, holiday related, or Filipino related topics. Most of these videos are limited to 15 or 20 minutes TO ALLOW for further comments on the program or to ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE in our Facebook discussions.

In general, weekly Rotary meetings include a program to be more informed of Rotary and/or the community. There is no requirement to have programs; however, there is a NEED for members to ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE in the activities of the club on a weekly basis because little can be properly plainned and accomplished if Rotarians meet ONLY once a month. The commitment to actively participate weekly include both traditional as well as electronic clubs. We are fortunate in Southern California to be able to meet in person once a month , BUT THIS DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE NEED TO MEET WEEKLY.

The video above is a discussion by e-club members on how to be a vibrant club. It is about 30 minutes long. Hopefully, members will actively particpate by commenting on our Facebook GGKeRC-Members Group
