Welcome to the Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club for the week of Sunday, December 31, 2017 through Saturday, January 6, 2018. We are an Internet based Rotary Club based in Quezon City, Philippines with core groups of members in Southern California and elsewhere. We serve our local and nearby communities as well as projects in the Philippines.
Inspiration
New plans. New dreams. New goals. New schemes. New hopes. New fears. New joys. New year. May the new year bring our club, new projects, new members, new success, new friends, and a fervor for Rotary that doesn’t end!
Rotary 4-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”
By building your team's self-esteem and encouraging them, the entire team becomes stronger.
Sing-Along Song—Auld Lang Syne
Take your time and sing-along (wherever you may be).
Fine Master
Traditionally, Rotary clubs have Fine Masters who are responsible for collecting fines/happy dollars. The clipart to your left is our e-club Fine Master. Do you have happy dollars, a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion, opening a new business, new car, new child, new grandchild, etc. Please feel free (and perhaps obligated) to click on our Rotary Fine Master button to your right.
The minimum fine is $3.00 to ensure a sufficient amount to take care of the PayPal fee. The purpose of the fines can be viewed by clicking on [View Fines/Happy Dollars] from the [Weekly Meetings] main menu
Program—5 Steps to Set Powerful New Years Goals and Manifest a Magical 2018
Learn simple, but powerful 5-step process to review the last year, and set powerful intentions and New Year's resolutions for 2018 from Suzanne Heyn, a top spirituality & personal development blogger and the Queen of Authenticity.Queen.
In addition, Frank Adamo has some guidelines and statistics to consider: There are 4 top secrets to setting and tracking your goals.
The first secret is to treat New Year Resolutions as goals for the year.
Statistics
By the end of the first month, one-third of all those who began their resolutions will have stopped trying
By the end of the first quarter, nearly one half have abandoned their new year's resolutions.
The second secret: only 8 percent will achieve their new year's resolutions by year's end.
Setting Goals
When you decide on a goal, write it down by hand.
Why? Because you own it
Be specific and don’t overreach
Do not attempt too many goals (only 2 to 3 at a time. Once you have finished one goal, start on the next)
The third secret: Why? The why will give you the incentive to continue.
Tracking Goals
Tracking data is helpful, but it may not keep you on track
There are many apps, excel templates, and more to help track your data
Do not micromanage your goals. Micromanaging can destroy your incentive to continue
The fourth secret: Track your progress--not just data.
This is your GPS to keep will keep you on track
Write down Inspirational quotes and/or comments for encouragement
At the beginning of the week, set tasks
At the end of week, track your progress
Why did you or why didn’t complete your weekly tasks
Continue tracking your progress weekly until you complete each goal
The fifth secret: Believe in yourself, believe in your goals, and believe you will achieve your goals
You can achieve anything with passion, commitment, and perseverance
Remember, treat your New Year's resolutions like goals, follow the powerful 5-step process to review the last year, and set powerful intentions presented by Suzanne Heyn, and follow the guidelines presented above for a very successful new year. To assist you, Frank has available a 52 week worksheet available on Amazon by clicking on the scan code to the right.
