On January 24, Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club held their 2nd Annual District Governor Elect Reception for DGE Dr. Reynaldo (Rey) David at the Holiday Inn in Buena Park, CA, US.

Serving as our emcee, President Elect Celly Adamo opened the meeting. After an invocation by Benita Delfin, EJ the DJ, son of Ernie and Benita Delfin, played the United States and the Philippines national anthems. After Past President Ernie Delvin, gave a brief history of our e-club and introduced our guests as well as our members, we recessed for dinner.

Our final presentation was given by Zoot Velasco, an actor and member of the Fullerton Rotary Club. He gave a very interesting and enlighening presentation on Paul Harris, founder of Rotary, and the beginning of our organization. Immediately after, DGEs Dr. Rey David and Keven Padilla answered a few questions about Rotary during a short open discussion.
