Bullying in the U.S. is a serious concern for young people and their parents. In the U.S. suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among people aged 10-24. Bullying is attributable to more than 4,000 teen suicides nationwide every year.
Bullying is not unique to the U.S. Bullying also occurs in the Philippines as shown in this video. According to the Department of Education (DepEd) in Manila, more than 1,700 cases of child abuse and bullying occurred during the 2013-2014 school year.
