Hello Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club,
Our Team Viewer Meeting just finished. Bell Olsen volunteered to procure Royal Thai Restaurant in Orange for our March 21, 2015, Saturday Lunch General Membership Meeting. Please share your comments.
Besides our O.P.I project for the Blind and our Christmas Orangewood projects, Bell suggested that we take on another local So Cal Project. Any suggestions??
I shared that I have procured a price for the Beach Towels for the children at Casa Hogar de la Gracia summer swim and beach outings. The following is my proposal for a fund raiser:
Case Hogar Video
1.) We will ask for a donation for $39 for the Children at Casa Hogar de la Gracia.
2.) For their donation of $39 the donor will give one Beach Towel to a Child at the Casa and will receive a Towel for themselves as a thank you.
3.) The goal is to get 50 donations of $39. times 50 equals $1,950.00 total.
4.) the cost for 100 towels is $1,000 at $10 each. This includes art work and silk screen
on the towel.

5.) The Towels will be Rotary Blue with Gold Printing. (Sample below, artwork not complete but this just for a general idea of the towels}
6.) Extra money above cost of towels will be used for swimwear. Those members present had voted at the February lunch general membership meeting to spend $20 per child. So we should stay within our budget. Any extra will go to our treasurer for future projects.
7.) I shared our project last night at a Toastmaster Open House and had one person commit to make a $39. donation and wants both of her towels to go to the Children! In addition I have two other donations as well. - only 47 to go. How many will you commit to??
