2015 World Polio Day

Welcome to the Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club for the week of Sunday, Novenber 15 through Saturday November 21, 2015. We are an Internet based Rotary Club based in Quezon City, Philippines with core groups of members in Southern California and elsewhere. We serve our local and nearby communities as well as projects in the Philippines.

Inspiration

Sing-Along Song - Through the Centuries

This song was written to help promote the work of Rotary International in the continuing effort to completely eradicate polio worldwide. Polio has been 99% eradicated and the final push is on to finish the task.

The song will be released on itunes etc as a single download on March 1st 2014 and ALL profits will go to Rotary International via the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise in Kent, England.

Program

The 2015 is the 3rd Annual World Polio Day, a global status update on the fight to end polio and take part in the conversation. Guests will include Global Polio Eradication Initiative partners, celebrity ambassadors, polio survivors, and others.

Though this video is more than one hour, at least watch for the first 30 minutes to qualify for your attendance. If you would like to watch the video for the first 30 to 40 minutes, you can return to watch the remaining 30 to 40 minutes next week to makeup for a missing Weekly Meeting.
