Welcome to the Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club for the week of Sunday, Jaruary 31 through Saturday February 6, 2016. We are an Internet based Rotary Club based in Quezon City, Philippines with core groups of members in Southern California and elsewhere. We serve our local and nearby communities as well as projects in the Philippines.

Invocation

"Each of us is called to be the best we can be. We are not called to mediocrity. Very few of us can rise to embrace our call on our own. It takes commitment, effort, and encouragement to achieve greatness. Let us remember that while we work toward our own success, it is our responsibility to help guide others to their success as well. We can achieve great things when we work together. Let us be thankful for the opportunities we have in Rotary to work together, as well as for the people we meet who inspire us to greatness, and whom we inspire."

Rotary 4-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”

By building your team's self-esteem and encouraging them, the entire team becomes stronger.

Sing-Along Song—Rotary Song

Take your time and sing-along (wherever you may be).

Fine Master

Traditionally, Rotary clubs have Fine Masters who are responsible for collecting fines/happy dollars. The clipart to your left is our e-club Fine Master. Do you have happy dollars, a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion, opening a new business, new car, new child, new grandchild, etc. Please feel free (and perhaps obligated) to click on our Rotary FineMaster button to your right.

The minimum fine is $3.00 to ensure a sufficient amount to take care of the PayPal fee. The purpose of the fines can be viewed by clicking on [View Fines/Happy Dollars] from the [Weekly Meetings] main menu

Program— Closing Remarks—2016 Rotary International Assembly

Both the current RI President, K.R. Ravindran, and our RI President Elect, John Germ, gave outstanding closing remarks at the conclusion of the 2016 Rotary International Assembly.

Be sure to listen to President Ravindran's opening comments about the two stones on the mountain side. Are you a stone who sees only one view or are you open to seeing yourself as a true and dedicated Rotarian committed to serving humanity?

Club Business

Remember that we have scheduled a bus trip to Pechanga in April. The board set up a choice of either April 16 or April 30. Frank has posted a poll to determine what is the better date for most of us and our guests.

Also remember our February Monthly Meeting has been rescheduled for February 27 at Rene Fruto's home. Details are available on the calendar.
