Welcome to the Global Kalinga e-Rotary Club for the week of Sunday, September 4 through Saturday, September 10, 2016. We are an Internet based Rotary Club based in Quezon City, Philippines with core groups of members in Southern California and elsewhere. We serve our local and nearby communities as well as projects in the Philippines.

Invocation

Dear God, we appreciate how blessed we truly are – with more than simply the necessities of life, with prosperity, with family, with friendship.

As we enjoy the support within the “family of Rotary”, help us to reach out to those families less fortunate than us within our own community and around the world.

As we appreciate our health, give us the means through our work with the Rotary Foundation to help cure the ills of the world. And may we see the day soon when polio will be eliminated from the face of the earth.

As we enjoy this meal together, inspire us to work to rid the world of hunger and to help bring to the world clean drinkable water.

And as we consider Your teachings, inspire us to serve You so that there may truly be peace and understanding throughout the world.

Gracious God, Help us to work together within Rotary so that we may do Your bidding on this earth. And let us say Amen.

Rotary 4-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”

By building your team's self-esteem and encouraging them, the entire team becomes stronger.

Sing-Along Song—True Rotarian

Take your time and sing-along (wherever you may be).

Fine Master

Traditionally, Rotary clubs have Fine Masters who are responsible for collecting fines/happy dollars. The clipart to your left is our e-club Fine Master. Do you have happy dollars, a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion, opening a new business, new car, new child, new grandchild, etc. Please feel free (and perhaps obligated) to click on our Rotary Fine Master button to your right.

The minimum fine is $3.00 to ensure a sufficient amount to take care of the PayPal fee. The purpose of the fines can be viewed by clicking on [View Fines/Happy Dollars] from the [Weekly Meetings] main menu

Program—"100 Years of Doing Good" (Panel on Centennial of The Rotary Foundation)

At the 1917 convention, outgoing Rotary President Arch Klumph proposed to set up an endowment “for the purpose of doing good in the world.” In 1928, it was renamed The Rotary Foundation, and it became a distinct entity within Rotary International.

At Rotary's 2016 convention, Randall Feldman moderates a discussion with author David Forward and TRF Centennial Celebration Committee Chair Stephanie Urchick on the Centennial of The Rotary Foundation.
